A contemporary meditative refuge against a stunning backdrop in Desert Mountain.
This home was designed with great expanses of glass to embrace the majestic views of the surrounding desert.
We blended the newly installed foreground to connect with distant borrowed scenery by adding and layering accents consisting of 3 specimen-quality saguaro and multiple other specimen plants, including large senitas, organ pipes, cluster barrels, and cardon cacti.
From the bridge connecting the casita with the main house, the owner enjoys more exotic cacti such as Trichocereus and shade agaves.
Mexican fence post cacti provide organic symmetry on the private patio. The owner has integrated the surrounding scenery into the home, creating a harmonious, meditative experience throughout the property.
